TASK 2.
Proposal
I teamed up with my friend
Te Li Wen
to work on this project.
We discussed and prepared a proposal.
After consulting, we decided to go with "Flower Knows", the
cosmetic brand. Specifically the Swan Ballet Series, Eye
Shadow Palettes.
The audio we chose was Swan Lake/Tchaikovsky [Music Box] because it was the song of the ballet performance that
inspired the cosmetic series. We went with 1:04 - 1:19 of the
music.
Week 6 Progress

We had similar ideas but different ideas of execution, so
we decided to make 1 storyboard each then see which works
better or if we should merge the ideas.
Week 7 Progress
Li Wen was in charge of illustrating elements for the
close up scenes showcasing the makeup while I was in
charge of the silhouette of the ballerinas and other
elements needed for the channel bumper.
After completing all the elements needed, we made a
digitalized storyboard to clearer visualize the final
product.
Week 8-9 Progress
After everything is ready, we proceed to
animation in after effects. This time I animated
Li Wen's Illustration while she animates mine. We
utilized many tools, especially the puppet tool we
learned in video sound production.

FEEDBACK
Week 6
Mr. Fauzi recommended us to go with the cosmetic brand
"Flower Knows" as we have more things to animate with
that.
Week 7
Mr.Fauzi suggested we do storyboard 1 as it has more
elements to play with.
Week 9
We were told to give the feeling of authenticity by adding
more focus on the makeup.
REFLECTION
Week 6-9
I really enjoy creating animations so this one was extremely enjoyable. It was also my first time working with someone else on the same animation. One thing fustrating was being unable to find certain tools in after effects as were not used to it yet But overall, it was a fun project and I look forward to the following project.
