INSTRUCTABLE POSTER

In this project we were instructed to choose a recipe from the Youtube channel, "Pasta Grannies". After choosing we have to design an instructable poster about the recipe in the video.

I chose Sardinian Melloreddus because I fuond that it looks delicious. I felt hungry watching it. I started with analyzing the video and noting down all the steps and ingredients. I then made a draft of the poster. I wanted to go with a simple to digest style.

After feedback, I removed the numbers and editted as per suggestion. I also added an ingredients list.

With the draft finalized, I imported it into Illustrator as a dimmed reference and arranged the text above. The font I chose was , "Winky Sans".

I then moved to Ibis Paint X to create the illustration. I found it easier to draw there with my tablet.

I dropped the completed illustrations into illustrator then arranged them accordingly. For the simpler graphics, I used the pen tool to craft them.

FEEDBACK.

Week 5

Mr Kannan suggested to remove the numbering and only have numbers for 1.Pasta and 2.Sauce. He also said to add an ingredient list and to add arrows indicating the flow.

REFLECTION.

This is a simple but also difficult assignment that needed time to analyze and plan. It took me a long time to come up with a composition that can fit all the information. I learnt alot from researching examples and arranging my own final product.
