Preparation For Animating


Text separated for animation


Added separate clouds taken from W7 activity.
Changed the hue to peachy colour to match the other clouds.


I'm planning to animate the words and clouds as well so I did some preparation for that.

I also renamed everything neatly and arranged layers for easier animating.

Animating


After importing, I animated the background first, I made the Tower and paper pop up.


I animated the positions of the clouds subtly to give a real sky feel.


Used pan behind tool to adjust anchor and rotate frame.


Used puppet tool to animate my dog panting.


Used the timeline to change appearance time of letters to make it seem like typing.


Used the puppet tool to move me so it's not too static.


Did the same to animate my cat's tail


After animating all the elements I want, I added the finishing touch, effects.
Grain and dust and scratches added.

After doing a test export, I realized it was maybe too much animation so I removed the animation on the center frame since it looked out of place.


I also decided to add a moving overlay instead of static ones so that it feels more like an old tv advertisement. Making one also looks a lot clearer than using downloaded overlays.
